Each year, the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015 (the Standards) require all ASQA RTOs to submit an annual declaration on compliance.
The annual declaration is an important tool for both providers and for ASQA:
- for providers, the annual declaration is an opportunity to undertake a self-assessment and to make sure that all information ASQA holds about your operations is correct
- for ASQA, the annual declaration helps to identify emerging systemic issues in the VET sector.
The annual declaration is a simple online form. The form itself takes between 15 and 30 minutes to complete in most cases. However, to complete the declaration you will also need to assess your RTO's compliance with the Standards, which may take longer if you are not regularly undertaking self-assessment of your RTO.
ASQA sent an email to each RTO's Chief Executive Officer on Friday 12 February 2021. Each email contains a unique URL to your survey.
The annual declaration online form is available until midnight on 31 March 2021.
