An anonymous tip from the public has led to firearms, knives and more than $200,000 worth of alleged ketamine being seized following an investigation by Caulfield Divisional Response Unit.
The three-month investigation culminated in the arrest of a man and execution of a warrant in Carrum on Friday.
A search of the residence uncovered the quantity of alleged ketamine, suspected cocaine, two firearms, two imitation firearms, a machete, illegal knives, various prescription medications and tens of thousands of dollars in cash.
The 25-year-old has been charged with traffick large commercial quaintly of ketamine, traffick cocaine, possess prescription medications, traffick firearms, possess firearms and imitation firearms, possess prohibited weapons and possess proceeds of crime.
The Carrum man was remanded in custody to appear before Melbourne Magistrates' Court today, Monday 22 June.
