ANZ today announced its support for the Federal Government's new stimulus package to help businesses and everyday Australians as they face challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic.
ANZ Group Executive Australia Retail and Commercial, Mark Hand said: "This package will provide much-needed support for a range of Australians facing the challenges from this pandemic.
"We are supportive of the announced guarantees for small and medium enterprise loans and are now working through how we can provide this to our customers," Mr Hand said.
The government's new stimulus package comes after ANZ recently announced an unprecedented support package for small business and home loan customers, including a six-month payment deferral on loans.
