Dawn services will be held across Bayside to remember and commemorate those who have served in the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps.
Anzac Day is a day of remembrance and commemoration for all Australians who have died in war with dawn services held each year at the time of the original landing at Gallipoli in 1915.
An ANZAC Day Dawn Service hosted by Botany RSL sub-branch and Bayside Council will be held at Booralee Park on Saturday 25 April. The service at Booralee Park, Botany starts at 6am and includes a Memorial and Wreath Laying Service and Cenotaph Ceremony.
Bayside's ANZAC commemorations include a pre-ANZAC March from Mascot Library to Mascot Memorial Park, Mascot on Sunday 19 April from 2pm. The march starts at 2 pm from Mascot Library and heads towards Mascot Memorial Park for a Wreath Laying Service and Cenotaph Ceremony.
