Police are appealing for public assistance after a woman was assaulted in Sydney's Inner West last month.
About 5.30am on Friday 6 January 2026, police responded to reports of a woman who had allegedly been assaulted at a railway station at Erskineville.
The woman was uninjured.
As part of inquiries, officers from the Police Transport Command have released images of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of solid build, and aged between 40-50 years old.
The man was wearing a dark blue long sleeve t shirt, blue jeans and a black backpack.
