Police have released CCTV images as they seek to identify a man who may be able to assist with inquiries after an elderly couple were allegedly assaulted in Sydney's west.
About 11.20am on Thursday 26 January 2026, police were called following reports a 78-year-old man and 79-year-old woman had been assaulted by a man at a bus stop on Charles Hackett Drive, St Marys.
The couple suffered minor injuries and did not require treatment.
Officers from Police Transport Command North West Sector have commenced an investigation into the incident.
As inquiries continues, officers have released CCTV vision of a man they believe may be able to assist with inquiries.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance and aged in his 50s-60s, with brown balding hair, and was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt, blue shorts and black shoes.
He has a number of tattoos on his arms, legs and neck.
The man was last seen walking onto Carinya Avenue, St Marys.
