Appeal After Sexual Act On Bus - Haymarket

Police are appealing for public assistance following reports of a sexual act on Sydney's public transport last month.

About 1.20pm Tuesday 20 February 2024 police were called to George Street, Haymarket, following reports a man had exposed himself toward a young girl on a bus before leaving the bus and fleeing the scene.

Officers attached to Police Transport Command have launched an investigation into the incident and following extensive inquiries police wish to speak with a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, in his 30s, with an olive complexion, a dark brown moustache, facial piercings and wearing glasses.

At the time of the incident, he was wearing a leaf print shirt with a white logo on the front, grey shorts, white shoes, a black hat and a black backpack.
