I am pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Bronwyn Livermore as Second Parliamentary Counsel at the Office of Parliamentary Counsel (OPC).
Ms Livermore has been employed as Counsel at OPC since 2005, holding the position of First Assistant Parliamentary Counsel since 2017. Ms Livermore has been appointed to replace Ms Meredith Leigh, who resigned as Second Parliamentary Counsel on her appointment as First Parliamentary Counsel.
Ms Livermore's seven-year appointment commenced on 17 March 2022.
Ms Bronwyn Livermore
Ms Livermore was admitted to the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory in 1999. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the Australian National University. Ms Livermore has been employed as Counsel at OPC since 2005, holding the position of First Assistant Parliamentary Counsel since 2017.
