Appointment To Defence Force Discipline Appeal Tribunal 20 March

The Albanese Government is pleased to announce the appointment of Justice Andrew Coleman as a new Member of the Defence Force Discipline Appeal Tribunal (the Tribunal).

Justice Coleman commenced his appointment on 19 March.

The Tribunal hears and determines appeals from courts-martial and Defence Force magistrates in relation to service offences by Australian Defence Force personnel.

Justice Coleman is currently a Judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales. He is also a Major in the Australian Army Legal Corps (Reserves).

The Government congratulates Justice Coleman on his appointment and thanks him for his willingness to serve on the Tribunal.
