Armed robbery appeal, Andergrove

Police are seeking public assistance following an armed robbery in Andergrove near Mackay on Wednesday, July 26.

Initial investigations indicate shortly after 8pm, a group travelling in a white 2012 Nissan Navara utility have entered an Andergrove Road bottle shop.

The passenger, armed with a firearm, then threatened a shop assistant, stealing a sum of cash before leaving the scene in the utility.

No one was physically injured.

The utility was allegedly stolen from a Victoria Street property in Mackay on Sunday, July 23.

It was located abandoned on July 28.

Police are appealing for anyone who sighted the utility, bearing Queensland registration 277STR, between July 26 and July 28, to come forward.

Witnesses, including anyone near the store at the time or anyone with relevant vision, is also urged to contact police.

One of the men (pictured) was wearing a grey hooded jumper with a white facemask, gloves and dark pants.

Investigations are continuing.
