Armed robbery appeal, Waterford West

Detectives from Logan Criminal Investigation Branch are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery in Waterford West early this morning, May 31.

Initial investigations indicate at approximately 12.45am, two men assaulted a 29-year-old driver as he was exiting his car at an Evergreen Avenue property.

One of the men stole the driver's keys, while the other broke into his home where he was confronted by a dog, forcing him to quickly exit the dwelling.

The duo left the scene in a stolen white 2022 Toyota Corolla Cross.

A 29-year-old Waterford West man was transported to Logan Hospital with head injuries.
