Regional Investigations Unit detectives have charged a 21-year-old man as a result of their ongoing investigation into armed robberies at bottle shops located in Darch and Balcatta on 22 and 24 December 2018.
It is alleged during the robberies at bottle shops the man threatened staff with a baseball bat and in one incident, he struck a staff member, WA Police say.
The 21-year-old man from Balga has been charged with two counts of Aggravated Armed Robbery and he is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court today, Saturday 29 December 2018.
The investigation is onoing and anyone with any information relating to these incidents is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
