Armed robbery at Cannon Hill, QLD

Police are seeking public assistance to solve an armed robbery that happened yesterday at Cannon Hill, Queensland Police say.

At around 8:15 pm a man had returned to his carpark, following shopping at a Wynnum Road shopping centre.

As he was placing his shopping into his red Holden Commodore he was approached by a man who threatened him with a knife and demanded the keys to the car.

The armed man fled in the Commodore.

The car is described as a red Holden Commodore sedan bearing Queensland registration 084VMW.

Anyone who observes the vehicle are advised to contact police and not to approach the vehicle.

Police would like to speak with this man (pictured) as he may be able to assist with their inquiries.

Police are seeking any witnesses or dashcam footage from anyone who was driving in that area at that time to contact police.

Police investigations are continuing.
