Armed robbery charges in Lawnton, QLD

Police have charged a woman after she allegedly robbed a Lawnton takeaway business tonight., Queensland Police say

It will be alleged at 7.25pm a woman has entered the Ebert Parade business and thrown the cash register on the ground. The woman has then threatened a male staff member with a knife before removing cash from the smashed cash register and leaving the store.

Police located the woman a short time later on Todds Road.

A 23-year-old Lawnton woman has been charged with armed robbery, enter premises, wilful damage, assault occasioning bodily harm, and two counts of obstruct police. She is expected to appear at Pine Rivers Magistrate Court tomorrow, November 19.
