Armed Robbery in Bomaderry

Police are appealing to the public for assistance to locate a man following an armed robbery in Bomaderry today, NSW Police say.

About 11am today, police were called to a business on Meroo Road, Bomaderry.

Police have been told that a man entered the store and threatened staff with a knife.

The man took a sum of cash before fleeing the store and was last seen running down Meroo Road, in a westerly direction.

Officers attached to Shoalhaven Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

Police would like to speak with a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.

The man is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance and 175cm tall. He was last seen wearing a dark blue tracksuit jacket, with dark blue and white tracksuit pants, and sunglasses.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
