Brimbank Divisional Response Unit have charged an additional four teenagers after a teenager was stabbed during an affray in Deer Park last week.
The following teens were arrested by detectives this morning.
A 15-year-old Brimbank girl who was charged with affray, intentionally cause injury and violent disorder.
She was bailed to a children's court at a later date:
A 16-year-old boy from the Melton area was charged with affray, intentionally cause injury, violent disorder, assault in company, assault with a weapon and possess a controlled weapon.
A 17-year-old girl from the Yarra area was charged with affray, intentionally cause injury, violent disorder, assault in company, assault with weapon and possess controlled weapon.
A 16-year-old girl from the Yarra area was charged with affray, intentionally cause injury, violent disorder, assault in company, assault by kicking, unlawful assault and possess a controlled weapon.
Detectives are expected to remand the three teens later today.
Officers were first called to the scene following reports of a brawl and possible stabbing involving a group of youths at Robert Bruce Reserve on Gould Street about 7.15pm on Wednesday 16 September.
When police arrived, they found several witnesses and an injured 18-year-old young woman with suspected stab wounds.
The teen was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
It's alleged a brawl broke out which spread out from the reserve onto Gould and Newbury streets and Neal Road.
Officers are also investigating reports another female was assaulted, who didn't require medical assistance.
Police also arrested a teenager in the Melton area on the 18 September and charged the 15-year-old with affray.
She was bailed to appear at a children's court at a later date.
A 15-year-old girl from the Yarra area handed herself into police on 21 September.
She was charged with affray, violent disorder, assault in company and assault by kicking.
She was bailed to appear at a children's court at a later date.
The investigation remains ongoing.
