Arrest Made in Katherine Aggravated Burglary Case: Police Update

Northern Territory Police are continuing to call for information in relation to a series of property offences committed in Katherine between Thursday 28 and Friday 29 March 2024.

Over the course of 2 nights, police alleged that 2 males were involved in property offending across Katherine involving a stolen white Toyota Corolla and a Red Honda CRF250F motorcycle.

Investigators from the Katherine Police Northern Investigation Section have arrested a male youth in relation to the incidents and have since charged him with a number of offences including Aggravated burglary, Theft, Unlawful use of a motor vehicle and Going armed with an offensive weapon.

Investigators are urging members of the public who may have witnessed, or who has dash-cam footage of the actions of two reported stolen vehicles driving around the Katherine CBD between Thursday and Friday to contact police on 131 444. Please quote reference NTP2400031647.
