Arrest made over Titirangi restaurant burglary

One arrest has been made as an investigation into a burglary at a popular Titirangi restaurant continues.

Waitematā West Area Prevention Manager, Acting Inspector Carl Fowlie says the burglary was reported on 11 July.

"An investigation has been underway and yesterday Police arrested a 17-year-old male over the incident," he says.

He is currently before the Waitākere Youth Court charged with burglary.

Acting Inspector Fowlie says the burglary remains under investigation and further arrests cannot be ruled out.

"We are continuing to investigate offending that is affecting businesses in our community, and holding offending to account."
