South West Detectives have charged three men in relation to an incident that occurred in Carey Park on Wednesday 10 May 2017, where a 23 year old man was attacked.
Police will allege that at approximately 6:25pm a man approached the victim’s house and knocked on the door. The victim answered and after a short conversation the two men engaged in a physical altercation on the porch., WA Police say
During this time, two other men have run up to the porch and attacked the victim with machetes while demanding cash and property.
The victim managed to run to a neighbour’s house for help and the three men left the area.
South West Detectives arrested three men in relation to the incident. They were each charged with:
•Aggravated Home Burglary and Commit;
•Aggravated Armed Assault with Intent to Rob; and
•Threats to Injure, Endanger or Harm Any Person.
A 25 year old man of no fixed address is due to appear before the Bunbury Magistrates Court today, 25 May 2017.
A 33 year old and a 26 year old man, both of Australind appeared in the Bunbury Magistrates Court earlier this week.
