Arson Appeal, Barney Point

Police have released an image of someone who may be able to assist with their investigations into an arson incident at Barney Point on 9 May.

Around 4.15am, an unknown person has set fire to a speed camera trailer along Hopper Road causing extensive damage to the device.

The fire was extinguished a short time later and no one was injured during the incident.

Police are appealing to anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam vision of Hopper Road between 4am and 5am on 9 May, to come forward.

Investigations are ongoing.
