Police are investigating a suspicious fire at Mile End early this morning.
About 12.40am Sunday 26 January emergency services were called to Henley Street after reports that a house was on fire.
MFS were able to bring the blaze under control quickly, but substantial damage was caused to the premises. The occupant was home at the time of the fire but thankfully was not injured.
Police Fire Cause Investigated were recalled and attended to assist with the investigation, they believe the fire was deliberately lit.
