Homicide Squad Detectives charged a 40-year-old man with murder as a result of their investigation into the death of a man (not formally identified) in Ascot on Tuesday 24 December 2019.
It will be alleged sometime after 7.30am the man stabbed the victim in Adachi Park and left the area on foot.
The man, of no fixed address, will appear in the Perth Magistrates Court, Northbridge, this morning, Saturday 4 January 2020.
