Global law firm Ashurst has advised the Bradfield Development Authority on the development of its first major land release in Bradfield City, enabling the delivery of a landmark mixed-use precinct in Western Sydney's emerging economic hub.
Bradfield City forms part of the Western Sydney Aerotropolis, a strategic growth area anchored by the Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport. The first land release is designed to deliver a sustainable and resilient mixed-use precinct, including residential with a commitment to 10% affordable housing, and dedicating 25% of the gross floor area to non-residential uses to support high-value jobs and an innovation ecosystem. In the initial phase of delivery, the development will include a food and beverage facility, retail offerings, a childcare centre, affordable housing and a university or commercial anchor tenant.
