Global law firm Ashurst has advised Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) on their HoldCo financing to leading UK renewable energy developer, Elements Green.
The financing, structured through CIP's Green Credit Fund I, will support the development of Elements Green's extensive 13GW pipeline of solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects across the UK and Europe. CIP's investment in Elements Green underscores a shared commitment to building a more sustainable and flexible electricity grid.
Ashurst assisted CIP in providing necessary capital which will drive the growth and expansion of the company's project pipeline, while maintaining long-term control and ownership, supporting its position as a future independent power producer.
The Ashurst team was led by partner Laura Ho, with support from associates Neil Moran, Parmeet Sandhu and trainee Claudia Dolgetta.
