Global law firm Ashurst has represented four technology companies on their H-share listings on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange: Guangdong Huayan Robotics Co., Ltd. (SEHK: 1021), Jiangsu New Vision Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd. (SEHK: 2632), Nsing Technologies Inc. (SEHK: 2701), and Zhejiang Galaxis Technology Group Co., Ltd. (SEHK: 2729).
Each of the four companies operates in high-growth technology sectors central to China's innovation economy. Guangdong Huayan Robotics Co., Ltd. develops collaborative robots (cobots) for industrial automation. Jiangsu New Vision Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd. is a developer of head-up display (HUD) technology for use in vehicles. Nsing Technologies Inc. is an IC design company focused on control chips and system solutions. Zhejiang Galaxis Technology Group Co., Ltd. develops robotics products with intralogistics capabilities.
Across all four transactions, Ashurst delivered regulatory advice spanning international sanctions, export controls, tariffs, and compliance with the U.S. Outbound Investment Security Program ("OISP"). These transactions build on a strong track record of Ashurst advising Chinese enterprises on regulatory matters in connection with Hong Kong IPOs. Earlier this year, Ashurst advised SANY Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (HKEX: 6031) on sanctions matters for its landmark H-share listing, as well as Estun Automation Co., Ltd. (SEHK: 2715) and Shenzhen Zhaowei Machinery & Electronics Co., Ltd. (SEHK: 2692) on sanctions and U.S. outbound investment regulations for their respective H-share listings.
These transactions demonstrate Ashurst's ability to advise on complex regulatory regimes in a coordinated and efficient manner, underscoring the depth of the firm's international trade practice. With a team across multiple jurisdictions, the firm draws on local regulatory knowledge across key markets to deliver seamless, cross-border advice aligned with each client's commercial objectives.
Ashurst brought together a multi-jurisdictional team across Asia, the UK, and Europe, headed by partner Alexander Dmitrenko, with support from Vicki Tang, Kenneth Lee, Eleanor Zhao, and Joyce Ng.
