Ashurst Perkins Coie has advised a consortium of lenders and arrangers on the €1.3 billion senior secured financing provided to Pure Data Centres Group in relation to Phase 1 of its data centre project in Seinäjoki, Finland.
The Phase 1 development is fully leased and set to provide 110MW of IT capacity, while the wider data centre campus will involve over 370 acres of land and is targeted to provide over 550MW of IT capacity. The project is expected to be amongst one of the largest AI data centres in Europe once completed.
The Ashurst Perkins Coie team was led by partner Antony Skinner, supported by associates Charles Guo and Sasha Stijacic and trainees Zain Nasir and Jizheng Tan. Partner Rebecca Clarke and associate Hana Bryne advised on the data centre lease aspects, with partner Katia Fettes, senior associate Anna Kozakiewicz and associate Jean-Baptiste Ntumba supporting on Luxembourg law aspects of the financing.
