Assault appealin Brisbane

Police are appealing for public assistance to identify a man who may be able to assist with investigations into two assaults in inner Brisbane on Sunday, August 13.

Investigations indicate at approximately 9.30am, the man inappropriately touched a woman while she was walking along Petrie Terrace.

An hour later at approximately 10.30am, the same man inappropriately touched another woman as she was walking along Butterfield Street in Herston.

In both instances, the man left the scene on foot wearing a black t-shirt, shorts, sunglasses and thongs.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, with a proportionate build, short dark hair and a dark-coloured beard.

Investigators have released vision of a man they believe may be able to assist their enquiries and are asking him, or anyone who may know the man, to come forward.

Investigations are continuing.
