Police are investigating an assault in the city this morning.
Just after 10.30am Monday 13 December emergency services were called to Sturt Street after reports a man had been assaulted with a brick.
When police arrived they located the victim, a 54-year-old Adelaide man, with serious injuries. He was transported to the RAH where he remains in a stable condition.
Police searched a nearby address for the suspect, who is known to the victim, however did not locate him at this time.
