Police are investigating an incident which occurred in Woody Point last night.
At 7.15pm three men were reportedly walking along Oxley avenue, shouting and jumping in and out of private gardens.
The trio then ran into the middle of the road towards a ridesharing vehicle and began assaulting the occupants through the open passenger window.
The three men then approached a private residence, kicked in the door and entered the address before assaulting a 37-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman.
The three men aged 26, 25 and 33-years-old were then taken into custody.
Two of the men were taken to hospital for treatment to non-life-threatening injuries.
The two occupants of the residence were treated for minor injuries.
Investigations are continuing.
