Attempted armed robbery in Keperra, QLD

Police are investigating the attempted armed robbery of a convenience store in Keperra on Saturday evening, June 3, Queensland Police say.

At about 7.45pm, a man wearing a black mask and armed with a tyre iron, entered the Gilston Road shop and demanded cash from the register.

The attendant did not comply with the man’s demands and he left empty handed.

There were no customers in the shop at the time of the incident.

The 25-year-old male staff member was not physically injured.

Investigations are continuing.
