Attempted murder charge at Ipswich

A man has been charged following investigations into a disturbance at Ipswich on Friday night.

At 7.30pm on September 25, police responded to reports of a disturbance on Darling Street.

On arrival, it will be alleged a 37-year-old man was located with a serious wound to his stomach.

He was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment to his injury.

A 62-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder (domestic violence offence) and will appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on Monday, September 28.
