Investigators are seeking public assistance to help locate two men following an incident in Norman Gardens, reported yesterday.
Police were called to Bulman Street at around 7 pm where a 23-year-old Norman Gardens man was sitting in his car and had been approached by two men.
One man was armed a length of chain wrapped around his hand and both men demanded the 23-year-old's car, punching him and trying to pull him from the car.
The two men ran off on foot when the Norman Gardens man began beeping the car horn.
The first man is described as Aboriginal in appearance, skinny build, late 20's, about 167cm tall, wearing dark clothing.
The second man is described as olive complexion, skinny build, about 172cm tall, wearing dark clothing with a shirt around his face.
Investigations are seeking any witnesses to come forward.
