At approximately 7.00pm on Wednesday the 1st of January 2020, members from Tasmania Police and Ambulance Tasmania attended a single vehicle ATV crash at Four Mile Beach, Granville Harbour.
A 20 year old male was treated at the scene before being airlifted to the Royal Hobart Hospital with suspected back injuries.
The male was riding in the area with a group of friends, who were able to assist until emergency services arrived. The male was wearing appropriate protective equipment at the time of the crash, which likely assisted in minimalizing injuries sustained.
