About 10.40pm on 24 December, emergency services received reports of a man with stab wound injuries on Talisker Gate. The 19-year-old male victim was conveyed to hospital but sadly died a short time.
On Saturday, 27 December 2025, an 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old male, both from Byford, were arrested and both charged with:
• 1 x Murder
• 1 x Deprivation of Liberty
• 1 x Aggravated Armed Robbery
The 18-year-old man is due to appear before Perth Magistrates Court on Sunday, 28 December 2025. The 17-year-old male is due to appear before Perth Children's Court on the same day.
These arrests follow the earlier arrest of another 18-year-old man from Byford on the evening of Thursday, 25 December 2025.
He has been charged with one count of 'Murder' and appeared before Perth Magistrates Court on Saturday, 27 December 2025. He was remanded in custody and is next due to appear before Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 7 January 2026.
It will be alleged all three males were involved in a physical altercation with the victim inside and outside a vehicle on Talisker Gate, during which the victim was stabbed several times.
Homicide Squad detectives are not seeking anyone else in relation to this incident and have no ongoing concerns for community safety.
