Rugby Australia congratulates Reuben Keane on his appointment to referee Saturday's Junior World Championship final between France and South Africa in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Keane becomes the third Australian to referee a Junior World Championship final and the first since Nic Berry in 2017 - the last time the tournament was in Georgia.
Australian referee Will Houston officiated the final in 2015, which was hosted in Italy.
Keane has officiated six games in the tournament, including two as head referee and four as assistant.
Keane will be joined by George Selwood (ENG) and Gonzalo de Achaval (ARG) as his assistants and Paulo Duarte (POR) as TMO.
The appointment adds to Keane's impressive resume having already officiated in Super Rugby Pacific, the Commonwealth Games, the Rugby Championship and at the Paris Olympics.
Rugby Australia Head of Match Officials Brendan McKibbin said:
"We're really pleased for Reuben getting this level of appointment on an international stage.
"He has been performing well throughout the tournament and this honour is a show of his hard work and consistency.
"This is also a reflection of the standing that our match officials in Australia have across global competitions."
