The Study Australia Speaking English Practice Test, developed in collaboration with Language Confidence, is an AI-enabled tool to assist students in testing their spoken English language skills and provides feedback on their English pronunciation.
This free tool will help prospective international students to understand their preparedness to sit an English language test. The user will answer 10 questions and submit their responses to generate a report which will provide an overall score and assessment metrics including:
- fluency
- grammar
- lexical resources
- pronunciation
- English testing band/score
Austrade piloted this tool with Language Confidence at the Study Australia Showcase delivered across six cities in India in September 2022.
Austrade encourages providers to share this tool on student-facing social media channels to support international students to successfully prepare and transition to onshore studies in Australia.
