Australian Reading Hour has a short and sweet message: read, share, and enjoy books!

The Australian Reading Hour is a national day dedicated to sharing the joys of books, reading and stories. Australia Reads is asking all Australians across the nation to spend an hour on the day reading and sharing the stories they love with others. It's a whole day, where the whole country talks about books together.

Come and join the Australia Reads special Story Times with City of Darwin Libraries! We'll be singing songs and reading stories, with a special invitation to parents and carers to pick up a book and read a story with their child.
