Australian music artists return to global stage

The program will help our artists return to the global stage after an 18-month absence due to COVID-19 and boost Australia’s music export activity.

A diverse range of 31 artists, producers, songwriters, composers, managers and crew will receive a share of more than $400,000.

This will enable international activities including song writing, producing, sound design and technical work and help artists, crew and music professionals tour overseas.

‘It’s very clear that Australian artists and crew are still in high demand,’ said Millie Millgate, Sounds Australia’s Executive Producer. ‘We have been so heartened to discover the incredible amount of international activity slated for Australians as the world reopens.’

The Export Stimulus package is supported by the Office for the Arts, the Australia Council for the Arts, APRA AMCOS, ARIA and PPCA.
