Australia's Governments Sign National Partnership Agreements

The Commonwealth and the Northern Territory Governments have today signed two national partnership agreements to deliver $14.2 million in additional policing and other community safety support for Alice Springs.

These two-year agreements will fund 30 additional high-visibility police officers, 21 additional liquor licensing inspectors and compliance officers and 10 additional security guards in public places across Alice Springs.

This measure is part of the Albanese Government's $48.8 million community safety package for Alice Springs.

We continue to work closely with the Northern Territory Government to tackle crime, keep women and children safe and support young people in communities across Alice Springs and Central Australia.
