The Albanese Government is backing Australia's small businesses with practical support to seize new opportunities in the digital economy.
Budget 2026 supports this with $3.5 billion in tax support measures to help small businesses invest, manage cash flow, and build capability.
The Government is investing over $25 million in Round 3 of the Digital Solutions program, helping small businesses adopt digital tools, grow online and stay secure.
The program delivers practical support, offering up to five hours of one‑on‑one coaching with expert advisers, alongside free workshops, webinars and online resources covering digital marketing, e‑commerce, cybersecurity and business software.
More than 15,500 small businesses have already benefited from the program, receiving over 33,000 hours of coaching and participating in more than 1,700 workshops and webinars. Three experienced providers have been selected to deliver services across the country, being the:
- Australian School of Employment: New South Wales and Australian Capital Territory
- BUSY Group: Western Australia, Queensland and the Northern Territory
- Melbourne Innovation Centre: Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.
A key focus of this round is artificial intelligence and emerging technologies; ensuring small businesses are equipped to compete and grow in a rapidly changing economy.
