About 4.30pm, a black Triumph motorcycle travelling west on Mundijong Road and a silver Holden Rodeo utility travelling east on Mundijong Road collided on Mundijong Road between St Albans Road and Lloyd Road.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 53-year-old man, sustained critical injuries in the crash and died at the scene.
The 24-year-old male driver of the Holden Rodeo was uninjured.
