Bayside Alive Christmas Spectacular

Council's Bayside Alive Christmas Program is brimming with exciting opportunities to celebrate the festive season and bring our community together in true Christmas spirit.

This year Council is hosting two brand new Christmas Spectacular evenings, one at Depena Reserve and the other at Booralee Park.

These family-friendly celebrations will run from 4pm to 10pm and feature trackless trains, carnival rides, Christmas markets, food trucks offering festive treats, roving performers lighting up the pathways, and a special visit from Santa himself.

Children will also be able to write letters to Santa and post them in a special South Pole mailbox.

A 3-metre illuminated Christmas tree and other large Christmas decorations will provide a dazzling backdrop for selfies.

These community celebrations offer entertainment for all ages in beautiful parkland settings, creating lasting Christmas memories for families.

Each evening will conclude with a short five-minute fireworks display to light up the night sky.

The popular Carols by the Sea returns to Ramsgate Beach on Saturday 13 December with a line-up of local community groups performing your favourite carols.

The evening will feature uplifting performances by Bay City Church, The Starlets, Frances Castley, the Mascot Wesley Uniting Church Choir, and the Royal Australian Navy Band. Santa will also be making a joyful appearance.

The 4th Kingsgrove Scouts will also be running a sausage sizzle on the night.
