Bayside Community Grants Round 2 Open

Bayside Council's Community Grants Round 2 opens on Monday 21 August and Bayside groups are invited to apply for funding to help support their community projects and initiatives.

"I am pleased Council continues to support local community organisations that are the heart and soul of our community. These organisations provide services that make a real difference to the lives of so many of our residents," Mayor Dr Christina Curry said.

"Our Community Grants Program is designed to support local community organisations and clubs to establish, extend or improve programs or services to our residents."

Local not-for-profit community organisations, groups and clubs are invited to apply for:

  • Small Grants (up to $2,000) for the purchase of equipment, special activities or information resources
  • Seeding Grants (up to $5,000) to develop new community, social, cultural, creative and/or leisure programs that may have an enduring community benefit.

Previous projects supported by Bayside Council include a collaborative community art project, workshops for women and girls to learn home repair skills, swimming lessons for school children with disabilities and a music program for the hearing impaired.

Council only accepts online applications and information on the funding process and how to apply can be found on Council's website.

Applications open on Monday 21 August and close Friday 29 September.
