Bayside Residents Recognised In King's Birthday Honours

Congratulations to Derek Jones, who has been awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in the 2025 King's Birthday Honours.

Derek is the founder and Convenor of Bayside Roads Litter Patrol, a dedicated group of volunteers who have been keeping Bayside beautiful since 2018 - removing litter from roadsides, parks, golf courses, shopping precincts and more, and reporting dumped rubbish, graffiti, and vandalism across our city.

A huge thank you to Derek and the Bayside Roads Litter Patrol team for your outstanding contribution to our community.
