Beckenham fatal crash

Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Beckenham on Saturday, 1 May 2021.

About 11.40 pm, a black Holden GTS was driving north on William Street and a train was travelling east, approaching Beckenham Train Station were involved in a collision at the level crossing situated between Seven Oaks Street and Railway Parade.

The driver and only occupant of the vehicle, a 44 year old man, received fatal injuries as a result of the collision.

Major Crash investigators are conducting an examination of the scene and are appealing for witnesses to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
