Belivah motorists getting home sooner and safer

Minister for Transport and Main Roads The Honourable Mark Bailey
  • Greater flood resilience with new culverts
  • Widening improves safety and provides space for bike riders

A $10 million upgrade by the Palaszczuk Government to improve Belivahs' Beaudesert-Beenleigh Road is now complete.

Work started in August 2022 to deliver several improvements to make the road safer and increase flood resilience.

More than 100 new culverts have been installed along the road to boost the drainage system during wet weather.

Wider shoulders are also providing more space for bike riders, and the wide centre line has created better separation with oncoming vehicles, reducing the risk of crashes.
