Bestselling Authors Visit Shellharbour Library in October

Following the overwhelming success of this month's sold-out evening with bestselling author Liane Moriarty, Shellharbour City Library is inviting book lovers to secure their seats for two more special author events in October.

Internationally acclaimed authors Michael Robotham and Fiona McIntosh will visit Shellharbour City Library as part of the Library's popular Visiting Author Series, giving readers the opportunity to hear firsthand about their latest books, writing journeys and the stories behind their success.

Michael Robotham, one of Australia's most celebrated crime and thriller writers, will appear on Thursday 15 October, discussing his latest novel, Tell Me Something True, his twentieth book and a powerful story set against the tensions of a small Australian town.

Robotham has sold more than eight million books worldwide and is recognised as one of the country's leading storytellers.

Readers can also enjoy an exclusive pre-release event with internationally bestselling historical fiction author Fiona McIntosh on Saturday 24 October, where she will discuss her new novel The Art Lovers.

Presented in collaboration with Shellharbour City Museum, the event will also feature a curated display of World War II collection items from the Museum archives.

Shellharbour City Mayor Chris Homer said the popularity of recent author events demonstrated the community's strong passion for literature and lifelong learning.

Both events will be held at Shellharbour City Library in Shellharbour City Centre, with audience members able to meet the authors and have books signed following the presentations.
