Beveridge Community Centre Expansion Advancing

Works are continuing on the $3.97 million expansion of the Greater Beveridge Community Centre, with construction on track for completion by the end of 2025.

Funded by the Victorian Government, the project will deliver two new kindergarten rooms, a minor expansion of the outdoor play space, and landscaping upgrades to improve usability of the facility.

The upgrade will increase local kindergarten places and support the roll-out of funded three-year-old kindergarten, giving more local children access to two years of high-quality early education.

Recent works have included installation of floor coverings and cabinetry, along with fixtures and fittings throughout the new spaces.

The next stage of construction will focus on realignment of the car park, expansion of the outdoor play space and completion of external landscaping.

Once complete, the upgraded centre will better meet the needs of the growing Beveridge community and help ensure local families have access to modern, accessible early years infrastructure close to home.
