Biden Discusses with Morocco's King Mohammed VI

Biden, Jr. called King Mohammed VI of Morocco today to offer his condolences for the loss of life in the devastating earthquake on September 8 and reaffirm the deep partnership between Morocco and the United States. They reviewed U.S. assistance to support Morocco's efforts in the disaster response, including $1 million allocated to relief activities, and discussed the United States' readiness to assist the recovery of affected regions. The two leaders agreed to remain in close contact.
