Camden Civic Centre is set to come alive, with a vibrant lineup of comedy, live performances and visual arts over the coming months.

Kicking off the program is acclaimed British comedian Ross Noble, who will bring his latest show Cranium of Curiosities to Camden on Friday 24 April. Known for his surreal, freewheeling style, Noble promises a night of unpredictable, high-energy comedy.

Comedy lovers can also look forward to the Camden Comedy Showcase on Friday 15 May, where six comedians will take to the stage for a night packed with laughs in the historic Camden Civic Centre.

Celebrating its 47th year, the Camden Art Prize returns from Saturday 23 to Friday 29 May. This long-running event showcases an impressive collection of works, supporting artists across the Camden Local Government Area and the wider Macarthur region while encouraging a deeper appreciation of Australian art.

Rounding out the program, audiences can relive the magic of one of the world's most iconic bands with ABBA - Thank You for the Music on Saturday 18 July. This two-hour live concert spectacular will take audiences on a journey through the unforgettable hits and story of ABBA.

Mayor of Camden, Cr Therese Fedeli, said the upcoming events highlighted the diversity of Camden's cultural scene.

"Our events calendar continues to grow, bringing a mix of world-class performers and local creative talent right here to Camden," she said.

"There's truly something for everyone - whether you're looking for a great night out, a laugh with friends, or the chance to experience incredible art."
